Trading Tip- Trading Gurus Geniuses and Legends are not the way to make money when Trend Following

There are always Gurus, Geniuses and Legends but they are not the ‎way to compound your way to wealth or to be used as an investment strategy. Today we seem to have more ‎gurus since the speed of information abounds. The sad part is that even ‎educated and intelligent investors follow gurus like a religion and are seeking a trading tip. The big ‎difference in my opinion is that these gurus many times are false ‎Messiahs. I have seen numerous market cycles. It seems with each cycle ‎there is a guru.

All of these gurus pretty much have one thing in common. They were ‎right at one point in their career, the media proclaimed them a guru ‎and afterwards many of their followers lost money by investing blindly ‎by their guidance.‎

When you trade with a plan that is robust, based on risk management and have the patience & discipline you will you will not need these these so called trading gurus and legends. You will be responsible for your own trading. You have accepted the uncertainty in trading.

Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future performance. The risk of loss in trading futures contracts, commodity options or forex can be substantial, and therefore investors should understand the risks involved in taking leveraged positions and must assume responsibility for the risks associated with such investments and for their results. You should carefully consider whether such trading is suitable for you in light of your circumstances and financial resources.
